Lentil Fritters Recipe
Ingredients
| Red lentils | 4 Ounce | |
| Onion | 1 | |
| Herbs | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cold water- ½ pint (285ml) | ||
| Yeast | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Breadcrumbs | 1 1/2 Ounce | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Take the lentils, onion and herbs and simmer in the water for 15-20 minutes until the lentils are softened
2. Add yeast extract and breadcrumbs to make a firm mixture
3. Form into small fritters and coat in flour
4. Fry oil until brown on both sides
SERVING
5. Can be served witha sauce of your choice
6. Can be served with salads too
