Lentil And Radish Salad Recipe

 Red lentils250 Gram, drained, rinsed
 Freshly ground black pepper1
 Carrot1 , chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
 Water1 Liter
 Dried thyme1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Chopped parsley4 Tablespoon
 Bay leaf7
 Radishes125 Gram, thinly sliced
 Onion1 , chopped
 Snipped chives2 Tablespoon
 Vinaigrette185 Milliliter
 Lettuce leaves4 (To Line The Platter)


Place lentils, onion and carrot, 1 tablespoon of parsley, garlic, thyme, bay leaf and water in a saucepan.
Bring to boil, then simmer 20 minutes, or until lentils are just tender.' Drain discardig bay leaf, and place in a bowl.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cool 20 minutes.
Add radishes, chives and remaining parsley and vinaigrette.
Line a platter with lettuce leaves, top with lentil salad and serve.
