Lemony Cous Cous Recipe Video

2 tablespoons butter
 
1 tablespoon olive oil
 
2 cloves garlic minced
 
zest of one lemon
 
2 cups chicken stock (1 14 oz can)
 
leaves from 1 sprig rosemary, chopped
 
2 cups dried cous cous
 
juice of one lemon
 
salt
 
pepper
 
garlic powder

Directions

So in a small saucepan melt the butter and olive oil over medium high. Once the butter has melted go head and add the garlic, lemon zest, rosemary, and chicken stock. Let come up to a boil. In a dry bowl add the cous cous and to the dried cous cous add the boiling liquid and stir so all combined. Cover with saran wrap so no steam can get out and let sit for 5-7 minutes. With a fork fluff it up and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Look how easy that was!! :)
