 Base

 2 cups Rice cereal crushed to 1/2 cup
 Butter/Margarine1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs2 , beaten (Topping)
 Sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Topping)
 All purpose flour2 Tablespoon (Topping)
 Baking powder1/4 Teaspoon (Topping)
 Lemon juice4 Teaspoon (Topping)
 Lemon peel1 Teaspoon, grated (Topping)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
To prepare base, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Stir in Rice Chex crumbs.
Cut in butter until very fine crumbs.
Press mixture firmly into pan.
Bake 12 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare topping.
Combine all ingredients.
Mix until well blended.
Pour over hot base.
Return to oven for additional 15- 20 minutes or until top is set but not browned.
Cool.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Cut into bars.
