Lemon Sauce Recipe

Believe me when I say that you must try this Lemon Sauce. In my view, to call yourself a chef, you need to have a personal recipe of Lemon Sauce, just like I do.

Ingredients

 
1 cup sugar
 
1/4 tsp. salt
 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
 
1/4 cup lemon juice
 
1 1/4 cups boiling water
 
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
 
1 tsp. grated orange rind
 
1 tbsp. butter

Directions

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch thoroughly in saucepan.
Stir in lemon juice and boiling water gradually.
Set over high heat and bring quickly to a boil, stirring constantly.
Turn down heat and boil gently 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon rind, orange rind and butter.
Serve warm over peach dumplings.
