Lemon Sauce Recipe
Lemon sauce is a tangy sauce made with lemon, lemon rind and sugar. Sweet and zippy to taste, the lemon sauce can be served over cakes to make them refershingly lemony.
Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, peeled and seeded
Rind of 1/2 lemon
Directions
Put all ingredients into Osterizer container, cover and process at PUREE until smooth.
Pour into saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
