Lemon Velvet Recipe
Ingredients
3 egg yolks
1/4, cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
3 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar
Directions
Beat yolks.
Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating till thick and lemon colored.
Stir in peel, jaices, and dash salt.
Fold in cream.
Beat whites till soft peaks form.
Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating .to stiff peaks; fold in.
Pour into refrigerator tray; freeze firm.
