Lemon-drop Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 14 1/2 -ounce can (12/3 cups) evaporated milk
4 drops yellow food coloring
1/2 cup crushed lemon drops
Directions
Thoroughly combine sugar, lemon peel, and juice blend well.
Stir in milk and food coloring.
Pour into refrigerator tray.
Freeze till firm.
Break in chunks and beat with electric beater till smooth (or partially freeze; beat with rotary beater).
Fold in crushed lemon drops; return to tray.
Freeze firm.
