Lemon Cream Muffin Tarts Recipe
Elegant lemon cream muffin tarts are just the thing for a fancy tea party. These muffin tarts or lemon cream cuffin tarts are delicate little muffins flavored with lemon zest and lemon pie filling. Serve these lemon cream muffin tarts at any party and have your guests begging for the recipe.
Ingredients
| Sugar cookie dough | 1 , refrigerated | |
| 1 pkg lemon pudding and pie filling | ||
| L tsp grated lemon zest 5 mL | ||
| Sweetened whipped cream | ||
| Strawberries, washed and hulled | ||
Directions
Unroll cookie dough and cut into 36 slices.
Press into bottoms and up sides of prepared muffin tins.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely and then carefully peel off the foil.
Set aside.
In a bowl, prepare pudding mix according to package directions.
Stir in lemon zest and place in refrigerator.
When filling is chilled, spoon 1 tbsp (15 mL) into each cup.
Return to refrigerator.
To serve, spoon some whipped cream on top.
Place a whole strawberry, hullside down, on top.
Press into bottoms and up sides of prepared muffin tins.
