Lemon-Chicken Nuggets Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
1 cup all-purpose flour
Vegetable oil
Honey (optional)
Barbecue sauce (optional)
Directions
Combine milk, lemon juice, salt, paprika, and pepper in a mixing bowl, mixing well.
Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces, marinate in milk mixture 8 hours.
Remove chicken from marinade, and dredge in flour.
Heat 1 1/2 inches oil in a large heavy skillet to 350°.
Fry 1 minute on each side or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve with honey or barbecue sauce, if desired.
