Lemon Blueberry Bread Recipe

1/3 cup butter, melted
 
1 cup sugar
 
3 tablespoons lemon juice
 
2 large eggs
 
1 1/2 cups flour
 
1 teaspoon baking powder
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 cup milk
 
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
 
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed

Directions

Combine the butter, sugar, lemon juice and eggs in a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt; add to the egg mixture alternately with the milk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in the walnuts and blueberries.
Pour into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until bread tests done.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes
