Lemon Trifle Recipe

Ingredients
4 slices sponge cake
1 egg white
7 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
50 gms. lemon jelly
Custard
Green coloring
Slices of apple, mango, etc. optional
Directions
Arrange the cake pieces in a dish.
Mix the sugar and one tablespoon of lemon juice and pour over the cake.
Prepare the jelly and pour it over the cake.
When it sets firmly pour the custard over it.
Beat the egg white till stiff, and add green coloring.
Decorate the top of the trifle with diagonal lines of egg white and with fruit.
