Lemon Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons each olive oil and lemon juice | ||
| Top sirloin | 2 Large, pounded | |
| Lemon | 1 , cut in half | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In a small bowl, stir together oil and lemon juice.
Place steaks, side by side, in a close-fitting pan and pour oil mixture over steaks.
Let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour.
Place steaks on a rack in a broiler pan (see "How to Broil Meat," at right).
Broil about 3 inches below heat for about 5 minutes on each side for rare or until done to your liking when slashed.
Transfer steaks to a carving board and cut into thin slices.
Squeeze lemon over slices and season to taste with salt and pepper
