Lemon Stars Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup soft margarine or butter
Grated rind of 1 small lemon
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon brandy
1 egg, beaten
Granulated sugar
Directions
1. Cut margarine into flour. Add lemon rind and brandy. Quickly knead together. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
2. Roll out the dough and cut out cookies with a star-shaped cookie cutter.
3. Brush with egg and heavily coat with granulated sugar.
4. Bake in a 375°F oven for 1 2-1 5 minutes.
