Lemon Squares Recipe
No one can stop at just one is my claim for this recipe of lemon squares. A good way to use up fruits is to make some irresistible lemon squares. This lemon squares is so tasty that I can not resist serving it as a dessert often. Treat your friends to this lemon squares and let them know its taste.
Ingredients
1 c. Bisquick
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3/4 c.sugar
1/4 c. coconut
1 Tbsp. Bisquick
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
Glaze:
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
Set oven at 350°.
Mix 1 cup Bisquick and powdered sugar.
Cut in butter or margarine.
Press into an ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes.
Mix sugar, coconut, 1 tablespoon Bisquick, eggs, lemon juice and grated lemon peel.
Pour over cookie layer.
Bake until set (about 25 minutes).
Loosen edges while warm.
Spread with glaze.
Cool completely.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
Mix until smooth.
