Lemon Sour Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Soft butter | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 4 Small | |
| Light brown sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pecans-1 cup-chopped | ||
| Coconut-1 cup-grated | ||
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Confectioners sugar-1 1/3 cups-sifted | ||
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon rind-2 teaspoons-grated | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large bowl, place the sugar, flour and salt
2. Add the butter to the bowl and mix well
3. Press this mixture into the jelly roll pan
4. Bake this mixture at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
5. In another bowl, set out the eggs, brown sugar, pecans, coconut and vanilla
6. Pour this second mixture over the first layer and bake for 30 minutes more
7. Cool for 15 minutes
8. In another bowl, place the confectioner’s sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind
9. Stir until smooth and pour the mixture over the cooled base
10. Cut into small squares when cooled completely
SERVING
11. Serve cold
