Savory Lemon Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Egg yolks | 2 | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley, chives, or dill, or 2-3 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Put the eggs, egg yolks, lemon juice, salt and pepper, in a small heavy pan.
Whisk, off the heat, until well blended.
Add milk and place on low heat.
Whisk constantly until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
When thick, remove from heat and add desired herb or capers.
Check seasoning.
