Lemon Marinated Salmon Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
| Frozen salmon steaks | 6 (Use Fresh Or Frozen) | |
| Lemon juice | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Sliced green onion | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Cooking oil | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Snipped parsley | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Finely chopped green pepper | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 3⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne | 1⁄8 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon wedges | 2 |
Directions
Thaw salmon steaks, if frozen.
Bring 1 cup water to boiling in 10 inch skillet or fish poacher with tight fitting cover.
Sprinkle salmon with a little salt.
Place half of the fish on greased rack in pan so fish does not touch water.
Cover pan tightly and steam till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 5 to 7 minutes.
Carefully remove fish to shallow dish.
Repeat with remaining fish.
In screw top jar combine remaining ingredients except lemon wedges; shake vigorously to blend.
Pour over salmon steaks.
Cover and chill 2 hours, spooning marinade over steaks several times.
Drain before serving and spoon vegetables over top.
