Lemon Marinated Salmon Steaks Recipe

Ingredients
6 fresh or frozen salmon steaks
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup sliced green onion
1/4 cup cooking oil
3 tablespoons snipped parsley
3 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Lemon wedges
Directions
Thaw salmon steaks, if frozen.
Bring 1 cup water to boiling in 10 inch skillet or fish poacher with tight fitting cover.
Sprinkle salmon with a little salt.
Place half of the fish on greased rack in pan so fish does not touch water.
Cover pan tightly and steam till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 5 to 7 minutes.
Carefully remove fish to shallow dish.
Repeat with remaining fish.
In screw top jar combine remaining ingredients except lemon wedges; shake vigorously to blend.
Pour over salmon steaks.
Cover and chill 2 hours, spooning marinade over steaks several times.
Drain before serving and spoon vegetables over top.
