Lemon Icebox Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg yolks | 3 | |
| Egg whites | 3 , beaten | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
Directions
Cook yolks, sugar, salt, and lemon juice in top of double boiler until mixture begins to thicken.
Cool; add whipped milk and egg whites.
Line a pan with the wafer crumbs, pour in custard mixture, and sprinkle crumbs on top.
Freeze, slice, and serve.
