Lemon Fish Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Pike - 6 slices (You could even use White fish or Salmon | ||
| Kosher salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Tomatoes | 2 (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Lemon | 2 (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Cider vinegar | 1 Tablespoon (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Bay leaf | 1 (Salad Oil - 1/4 cup) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a deep skillet, pour in the oil
2) Add the onions and saute till browned
3) Layer in the fish over the onion and sprinkle in salt and pepper
4) Tip in the tomatoes, lemon slices, water, vinegar, sugar and the bay leaf
5) Cover the skillet with a lid and cook over a low heat for about 35 minutes
6) Remove the bay and discard it
SERVING
7) Serve the fish hot or slightly cold in a serving dish
