Ingredients

 
1 1/2 cups water
 
1/3 cup cornstarch
 
3/4 cup honey
 
3 egg yolks, beaten
 
3/4 cup lemon juice
 
1 teaspoon butter

Directions

Pour water into a small bowl, and dissolve cornstarch in it.
Place mixture into a medium-size saucepan with honey, and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Pour a little of the hot mixture into egg yolks, whisking constantly.
Return to saucepan, and continue cooking for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add lemon juice and butter, and stir until butter is dissolved.
