Lemon Crescents Recipe
Ingredients
| Hot roll mix | 1 | |
| Margarine | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten |
Directions
Prepare the roll mix and let rise according to package directions.
Knead on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, then roll out to a 12-inch square.
Cream the margarine.
Add the lemon juice and mix well.
Spread on the dough.
Cut the dough in half.
Cut each rectangle crosswise into 3-inch lengths, then cut each length into 2 triangles.
Roll from 3-inch side to point.
Place on a greased baking sheet, point side down, and shape into crescents.
Let rise until doubled in bulk.
Brush with egg.
Bake in 450-degree oven for about 10 minutes or until brown.
