Lemon Cordial Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. 10 oz sugar | ||
| Tartaric acid | 1 1/2 Ounce | |
| 1/4 oz. epsom salts | ||
| Boiling water | 1 1/2 Pint | |
| Lemons | 2 Large | |
Directions
Combine sugar, tartaric acid and epsom salts in a large bowl, add boiling water, stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cool.
Finely grate the rind of 2 lemons, squeeze juice, add to liquid, allow to become cold.
Pour into bottles, cork, or cover with screw caps, store in refrigerator.
Mixture will keep for 2 to 3 weeks.
