Lemon Carrots And Apples Recipe
Ingredients
6 carrots, thinly sliced
2 green apples, cored and thinly sliced
2 tsp grated lemon peel
3 Tbsp margarine, melted
1 tsp vegetable salt
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
Arrange carrots and apples in alternate layers in a steamer.
Sprinkle with lemon peel.
Steam until crisp-tender.
Transfer to a serving dish.
Pour margarine over carrots and apples, and season with vegetable salt.
