Lemon Cake Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (3 oz.) lemon-flavored gelatin
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 cups packaged biscuit mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup salad oil
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
Directions
Into the large bowl of your electric mixer, put the gelatin, granulated sugar, biscuit mix, eggs, salad oil, and water.
Beat at slow speed until the ingredients are combined, then beat at medium speed for 5 minutes.
Pour into a greased and floured 13 by 9-inch baking pan and bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake tests done.
Combine the powdered sugar with the lemon juice.
Remove cake from oven, allow to cool about 5 minutes, then use a fork to pierce the cake all over.
Pour lemon mixture evenly over the top of cake.
Cool.
