Lemon Buttered New Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds new potatoes, quartered | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook potato, covered, in boiling water to cover 10 minutes or just until tender; drain.
Combine butter and next 6 ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring until butter melts.
Pour butter mixture over potato; toss gently to coat.
Garnish, if desired.
