Directions
Put them in boiling water, where they should remain for 1 minute after the water has again reached boiling point.
Drain well.
Brown the leeks lightly in oil, adding the tomato puree, sugar and lemon juice.
When the sauce is very smooth, put into it the olives, stoned and soaked to remove salt.
Mix up the whole thing and serve cold.
