Leeks With Bel Paese Recipe
Leeks with bel paese is a cheesy leeks recipe. Made with butter, the leeks with bel paese is a baked preparation. Cooked with milk it is seasoned oven baked with a cheese topping. Sprinkled with pepper, the leeks with bel paese is delicious and tempting.
Ingredients
3 leeks
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups milk
4 ounces cheese, thinly sliced

Directions
Trim greens from leeks 2 inches above bulb; discard greens.
Remove outer layer of bulb.
Wash leeks thoroughly.
Cut into large pieces.
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
Add oil, milk and leeks.
Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until leeks are tender; drain thoroughly.
Place leeks in buttered 1-quart casserole.
Cover with cheese.
Bake in preheated 350 °F oven 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Season to taste with pepper.
