| 6 tbsp / 75 ml / 3 fl oz hot, thick gravy | ||
| Leeks | 4 Large | |
| 1/4 cup / 50 ml / 2 fl oz water | ||
| 1 cup / 100 g / 4 oz grated cheese | ||
Directions
Place the Savoury Hamburger Mixture in a dish, cover and cook on high for 6-7 minutes. Stir after 3 minutes. Drain off any fat, then add the gravy and stir well. Keep to one side.
Trim the leeks, and with a sharp knife slice down the length, cutting only as deep as the centre. Spread the leaves apart and wash. Select the widest leaves and place in a dish with the water, cover and cook on high for 1 1/2—2 minutes until softened. Pour over cold water, drain and pat dry with absorbent kitchen paper (paper towels).
Lay the leeks flat and place approx 15 ml / 1 tbsp of mince mixture at the narrow end of each leaf. Roll up to enclose the meat. Place in a dish, cover and cook on high for 4—5 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle over the grated cheese and cook, uncovered, on high for 2 minutes.
