 4 cups chicken stock or canned chicken broth
 Butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flour3 Tablespoon
 Potatoes1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion1 Medium, diced
 Salt and white pepper
 Leek1 , diced

Directions

Bring the chicken stock to a boil.
Add the potatoes, onion, and leek.
Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until the vegetables are tender.
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Stir in the flour and cook over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Do not let the mixture brown.
