Lecso Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 lb. green paprika | ||
| Tomatoes | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Lard | 2 1/2 Ounce | |
| Onions | 5 Ounce | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Streaky bacon | 1 Ounce | |
Directions
Scald the tomatoes, skin and quarter.
Core the green paprikas and cut lengthwise into strips.
Dice bacon, fry in lard till golden brown, add finely chopped onions, stir for a minute, add paprika and then green paprika and tomatoes.
Stew over a slow fire.
If the paprikas are too hot, scald them first.
