Layyapatti Recipe
Ingredients
Puffed rice-4 ounces
Jaggery (gur)- 4 ounces, small pieces
Water -11/4 cups
Ghee- to grease
Directions
MAKING
1)Take a saucepan and add gur and water into it. Cook over low heat and make a 2-string syrup.
2)Turn off heat and add puffed rice and rice and mix well.
3)Take a plate and grease it. Spread the mixture evenly.
4)Let it cool and then cut into desired shaped.
SERVING
5)Serve the layyapatti as a snack or dessert.
