Layered Sombrero Dip With Sour Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1/2 pound | |
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Taco seasoning mix | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Avocado | 1 , frozen | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Monterey jack cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely shredded | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely shredded | |
| Pickled Red Cherry Pepper - 3 pickled, or 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos | ||
| Tortilla Chips | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a skillet, saute the beef on high heat till evenly browned
2) Drain off any excess fat
3) Add in water and the taco seasoning and reduce the heat to a low to bring down to a simmer for at least 10 minutes till the mixture meat gravy has turned saucy
4) Into a decorative pie, layer in the refried beans, the beef, the avocado dip, sour cream, monterey cheese and then the cheddar
5) Cover the dish and chill for an hour in the refrigerator
6) Allow the dish to come to room temperature before serving
SERVING
7) Garnish the dish with peppers and serve with chips
