Layered Green Pea Salad Recipe
Layered green pea salad is a mixed vegetable salad prepared with added cheese. Layered with onions and celery and dressed with sour cream, the layered green pea salad is topped with bacon and can be tossed to serve.
Ingredients
| Frozen green peas package | 1 , thawed | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Dried basil | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1/3 cup commercial sour cream | ||
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled | ||
Directions
Layer first 9 ingredients in order given in a 1 quart serving bowl; cover and chill at least 4 hours.
Top with bacon, and toss salad
