Lauki Dal Chana Recipe
Its a most popular in sub continenet. Specially its common and most favourite for those are vegeterian.
It is my favourite, and the dish with nan,fresh salad, and curd,really yummy,yummy.

Ingredients
1)-Chana dal ( Pulse of Gram.).
(2)-Onion fried -2.
(3)- Garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp.
(4)- Ginger paste 1 tbsp.
(5) – Tomato chopped -3.
(6) – Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp.
(7) – Turmeric powder 1 tsp.
(8) – Salt- 1 ½ tsp “ or” according to taste.
(9)_ Oil 2 cups.
(10)- Pumpkin ½ kg peeled and sliced.
(11)- Garam masala 1tbsp. ( It made by roasted cmin seeds and roasted red chilies).
FOR BAGHAR OR TARKA………….
(1)- Ghee ½ cup.
(2)- Onion chopped ½ .
(3)- White cumin seeds 1 tsp.
(4)-7-8 Fresh kari leaves.
(5)- Coriander leaves & 2-3 green chillies chopped for garnish.
(60 – Whole red chillies 4-5.
Directions
Soak daal for half an hour .Heat oil in a pan. and fry chopped onion till golden brown.
Add garlic and ginger paste ,salt ,red chili powder tomato and turmeric powder and peeled pumpkin . Fry them all till brown. Next add soaked daal chana and water to cook
till all ingredients become tender. Now remove in a bowl.
Sprinkle garam masala powder.
Now heat oil in a pan for baghar or tarka.
Put chopped oinion , white cumin seeds few whole red chillies and fresh kari leaves.
Onion becomes golden brown pour it the top of daal & pumpkin and serve it with hot NAN, Fresh salad, and curd.
