Ingredients

10 Green chillies

4-5 large cloves of Garlic

Unsalted Peanuts (a handful)

1 tsp Oil

Salt to taste

2 tsp lemon juice (its optional)

Directions

Chop the chillies and garlic finely
Dry roast the peanuts in a frying pan. Set it aside to cool.
Grind the peanuts to a coarse powder in a chutney mixer.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add half the chopped green chillies and garlic and fry till they start turning brown. Turn off the heat.
We have roasted only half the garlic and chillies. Now, the other half is directly crushed raw – this gives a fresh-fiery taste. Place the chillies and garlic (roasted as well as raw) in a chutney mixer and grind it into a coarse paste.
Mix in the powdered peanuts as well as salt. Crush to blend the thecha well.
Squeeze the lemon juice if wanted.
Transfer the contents to a bowl and serve.
This dish is really spicy . Serve it with bhakri or roti's.
