Almost every time I remember a warm summer afternoon from my childhood, lassi is there. Even now, hot, lazy afternoons are cooled with this sugary drink. Healthy? Yeah yogurt is very healthy.. sugar well it is not more than the soda you might reach for.

Salted lassi is not lassi, it is mattha or chaas http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/masala_chaas. It is a new thing to call it salted lassi. Ofcourse chaas is any day healthier than lassi but then taste is another thing. I am not saying one is yummier than the other. I can't compare an apple to a pear.

well the best lassi is made aat Prakash lassi in haridwar in india the y actually freeze their lassi so that the cream becomes a top layer of ice cream  you cant beat this lassi    EVERY ONE , if you are in or ner haridwar go to prakash lassi for the best lassi in the world
