Easy Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds Italian or bulk pork sausage | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Parsley flakes | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Basil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes | 2 1 pound | |
| Tomato Paste | 4 6 Ounce | |
| 20 ounces lasagne or wide noodles | ||
| 6 cups cream-style cottage cheese | ||
| Eggs | 4 , beaten | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 2 pounds Mozzarella or American cheese, sliced very thin | ||
Directions
Brown meat slowly.
Spoon off excess fat.
Add next 6 ingredients.
Simmer uncovered about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water till tender; drain; rinse in cold water.
Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, eggs, seasonings, and Parmesan cheese.
Place half the noodles in two 13 x 9 x 2-inch pans; spread half the cottage cheese mixture over; add half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375° 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting in squares—filling will set slightly.
