Lasagna Crepes Recipe
Ingredients
| Italian sausage | 450 Gram | |
| Olive oil | 45 Milliliter | |
| 1 finely diced onion | ||
| 1 finely diced green bell pepper | ||
| 1 finely diced celery stalk | ||
| Mushrooms | 250 Milliliter, finley sliced | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Tomato sauce | 500 Milliliter | |
| Basil | 10 Milliliter | |
| Ricotta cheese | 500 Milliliter | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Parsley | 60 Milliliter, chopped | |
| Parmesan cheese | 60 Milliliter, grated | |
| 16 Crepes (Crepe Batter) | ||
| Provolone cheese | 125 Milliliter, grated | |
| Mozzarella cheese | 310 Milliliter, grated | |
Directions
Dice the sausage in small cubes.
Heat the oil in a large skillet and brown the sausage, add the onions, green pepper, celery, mushrooms and garlic, saute until tender.
Drain off any excess fat.
Add the tomato sauce and basil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
While sauce simmers, combine the ricotta, egg, parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Ladle a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a round casserole dish.
Place a layer of crepes, cover with a layer of the cheese blend, top with a layer of crepes, and add another layer of sauce.
Repeat this procedure alternating crepes, sauce and cheese finishing with a layer of crepes.
Sprinkle the provolone and mozzarella over the crepes and bake in a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for 30 minutes.
Serve with Caesar salad.
