Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients
| Lasagna Noodles- 8 sheets, cooked according to package directions | ||
| Ricotta cheese | 8 Ounce | |
| Parsley leaves | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Mozzarella Cheese- 8 ounces, thickly sliced | ||
| Ground Beef- 1/2 pound, browned in a skillet (optional) | ||
| Tomato Paste | 1 Can (10oz) (Sauce) | |
| Pepperoni | 2 Ounce, sliced (Sauce) | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Sauce) | |
| Oregano | 2 Teaspoon (Sauce) | |
| Garlic salt | 3/4 Teaspoon (Sauce) | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon (Sauce) | |
| Parmesan Cheese- 2 tablespoons, for topping | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, mixed together tomato paste, pepperoni, water, oregano, garlic salt, pepper and beef if using.
2) In the slow cooker, place half of the noodles in the bottom.
3) Sprinkle with half the ricotta cheese, parsley, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese.
4) Spoon half of the pepperoni mixture.
5) Place the remaining noodles over the pepperoni mixture and repeat the process.
FINALIZING
6) Sprinkle 2 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese over the top.
7) Place the cooker over high heat and cook for 1 hour or until lightly browned on the top.
SERVING
8) Serve hot sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
