Ingredients
1 spaghetti sauce
9 lasagiva noodles, uncooked
2 cups fine curd cottage cheese
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
1 medium zucchini, sliced (optional)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Directions
Spread 1/4 of prepared sauce on bottom of 9" x 13" (3 L) baking dish.
Add 3 noodles, then half of cottage cheese, half of Mozzarella, half of zucchini if you are using it (a great extender when zucchini is plentiful) and second quarter of sauce.
Repeat layers.
Top with last three noodles, last of sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave at 50% power level for 35 minutes, reducing power level to 30% when sauce begins to bubble.
Let stand at least 10 minutes before serving.
An even longer standing time on a warming tray will allow sauce to set.
