Lamb Steaks In Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 lamb steaks | ||
| Seasoned salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 10 1/2 oz. can tomato soup, diluted with 1/2 can water | ||
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tsp.Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Fluffy hot rice | ||
Directions
Trim meat.
Sprinkle with salt; heat shortening in dutch oven.
Brown lamb.
Combine soup with water, vinegar, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce; pour over browned meat.
Cover tightly; cook over low heat 1 hour and 30 minutes or until tender.
Skim off excess fat.
Combine flour and water to sauce and cook until thickened.
Serve over rice
