Fresh Mint Sauce
1 pound lean ground lamb 2/3 cup soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup dry red wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon snipped fresh rosemary leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
2 small cloves garlic, finely chopped
Directions
Prepare Fresh Mint Sauce.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Shape lamb mixture into 4 patties, each about 1 inch thick.
Place patties on microwavable rack in microwavable dish.
Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on high 3 minutes; rotate dish 1/2 turn.
Microwave until patties are almost done, 3 to 4 minutes longer.
Let stand covered 3 minutes.
Serve with Fresh Mint Sauce.
Garnish with mint leaves and sliced kiwifruit, if desired.
