Lamb Meat Balls Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground lamb
1/4 cup (60 mL) soy sauce
1 garlic clove, chopped fine
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
1/3 cup (80 mL) plum sauce, Oriental
Directions
Mix together in a bowl the ground lamb, soy sauce and garlic.
Make into small meat balls or four pat ties, depending on how you wish to serve them.
Microwave the vegetable oil 3 minutes at HIGH in a ceramic dish.
Sprinkle the meat balls or the patties with paprika.
Pour them into or place them in the hot oil.
Microwave the meat balls 5 minutes at HIGH, stir-ring twice.
Microwave the patties 3 minutes at HIGH.
Turn, then microwave 2 minutes at HIGH.
Add the plum sauce to the meat balls, shaking the dish to coat them with the sauce.
Heat 2 minutes at HIGH.
Stir and serve.
For the patties, baste the top of each with the plum sauce, then baste with some of the juice accumulated in the bottom of the dish.
