Lamb Kebab Recipe
Ingredients
| Vinegar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 lb. lamb or beef, cut into 1 inch cubes | ||
| 3 med. tomatoes, cut in sixths | ||
| Mushrooms | 18 Small | |
| 6 slices bacon, cut in thirds | ||
Directions
Combine in saucepan vinegar, water, bay leaves, salt and sugar; bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes.
Cool, Pour over meat; marinate 24 hours.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Arrange meat, tomato wedges, mushrooms and bacon slices alternately on 6 skewers.
Broil 15 minutes in shallow pan, 3 or 4 inches from heat, turning frequently and basting with reserved marinade.
