Ingredients
2 pounds lamb shoulder, cut in 2 inch cubes
2 tablespoons corn oil
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sliced carrots
3 medium size onions, sliced
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dehydrated mint flakes
1 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons
Cold water hot cooked rice
Directions
Brown lamb in hot oil in a skillet until browned on all sides; drain off drippings.
Add water, carrots, onions, salt, pepper and mint flakes; cover and cook over low heat 2 hours.
Combine flour and water; blend.
Add flour mixture to lamb mixture; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Spoon lamb mixture over rice.
