Lamb Chops Maison Recipe
Ingredients
4 lamb chops
1/2 tsp (2 mL) sugar
1/2 tsp (2 mL) paprika
1/2 tsp (2 mL) rosemary or basil
1 tbsp (15 mL) of fat removed from chops
Directions
Preheat browning dish (Corning) 7 minutes at HIGH.
Mix together the sugar, paprika, rosemary or basil.
Rub each chop with the mixture.
Without removing the browning dish from the oven, place the pieces of fat in it.
Spread in the dish with a fork and place in the center.
Set each chop in the dish, pressing it down with the finger tips.
Brown 6 minutes at HIGH.
Turn the chops and let stand 10 minutes in the dish without cooking (internal heat will finish the cooking).
Serve.
