Ingredients

 
Serves 4
 
1 lamb rack cut into 6-8 lamb chops, remove all extra fat
 
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
 
1 tsp roasted coriander seeds
 
3 tsp roasted fennel seeds
 
3 in piece of fresh ginger peeled and coarsely chopped
 
3 tbsp peeled and coarsely chopped garlic
 
3 cups sour cream
 
2 tbsp Garam masala powder
 
2 tbsp meat masala powder
 
1 1/2 tsp salt
 
3 tbsp lemon juice
 
2-3 tbsp chopped fresh green coriander
 
2tbsp green chili
 
2tbsp oil for cooking

Directions

Trim off Excess fat off the racks and cut into portions

Dry roast cumin, fennel and coriander seeds in a pan & grind into a powder

Mix in all the prepared ingredients with the sour cream except for the chops

Pour the mixture over the lamb and marinate overnight in a zip lock bag

When ready to cook heat a sauce pan with oil, pan sear the lamb chops on high heat until brown on both sides about 3 minutes each side

Serve hot garnished with lemon wedges
