Lamb With Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
3 pounds lean shoulder of lamb
6-8 potatoes, peeled and quartered
2-3 tablespoons butter
2-3 onions, chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water

Directions
Cut lamb into 3 inch cubes.
Melt butter in a saucepan or casserole, add meat and onions, and brown well over moderate heat.
Add tomato sauce, water, potatoes, cinnamon, and salt and pepper.
Bring mixture to a boil, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
