Lamb With Bulgur Recipe

Ingredients

 
3 tbsp vegetable oil
 
1 1/2 lbs lamb, in 2 inch cubes
 
1 onion, finely chopped
 
3 cups water
 
1 cup bulgur
 
19 oz canned garbanzo beans, drained
 
1/2 tsp salt
 
1/4 tsp pepper
 
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions

In a casserole dish, heat oil.
Lightly brown meat and onion.
Add water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer around 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
Add 1/2 cup (125 mL) water during cooking, if needed.
Fold in bulgur, garbanzo beans and seasonings.
Continue cooking 15 minutes.
